Brief

REKO (Circular Economy Kosovo) is a digital platform developed for the NGO Rilindja e Gjelbër as part of an initiative funded by the EECSOK project, implemented through the Community Development Fund (CDF) and supported by the Embassy of Sweden. The platform is designed to raise awareness around circular economy principles—specifically within the textile industry—and to serve as a knowledge hub for stakeholders, educators, and the broader public. With an increasing need to share best practices, promote sustainable innovation, and amplify Kosovo’s role in the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, the REKO platform aims to deliver relevant, educational content through a modern, accessible, and visually engaging interface.

Solution

Kutia designed and developed REKO, a tailored web platform dedicated to circular economy education and awareness. Built with longevity and accessibility in mind, REKO includes: Custom UI/UX Design: Clean, responsive interface optimized for web and mobile use Content Management System (CMS): Enables the Rilindja e Gjelbër team to manage and publish content independently Business Directory: A curated section showcasing businesses in Kosovo that follow circular economy principles, helping users discover and connect with sustainable initiatives.
